Doris the Downy

This very silly little bird has come to live in our backyard in a birdhouse made for a chickadee that has been ravaged by another bigger woodpecker that made the big hole that's under the little hole. It's a mess! I named her Doris after my former supervisor who loved to pass the time with inane activity.

What have they done to me????

This is me, Izzy, recovering from having my particles removed by the vetman. *sigh* I don't know why they did this to me. I think he stole one of my brand new tooths too - something about it being damaged by my stick-eating or bone-chewing or something ridiculous like that. Wait until I am all better. I will get even. I am plotting even in my sleep.

We decided we needed to start blogging too...

I am Teddy, the bigger guy on the right. We are a little tired but then it is January. Anyway, there have been a lot of changes around here ... Bailey leaving...Annie gone.... I have my new sister Izzy. And it's a New Year so we are going to try this blogging thing. I am not as verbose as Bailey but Izzy is quite the blabbermouth...er, talker so hopefully she'll have some pearls of wisdom to share or at least some advice - she is good at giving advice in case you want to know anything. Belieive me, I know. And yes, she is only 6 months old but you know how kids are today - she knows it all!! Just ask her - she'll tell you!! Well, Happy New Year to everybody - we sure wish you all the best in this bright shiney beginning!

I've gone home to my Mama now...

Here I am loaded up in Taryn's car ready to make the trip to Washington D.C. to live with my Mama again. Auntbeth is sad *sniff* and hopes I am happy and healthy. I promise to stay in touch!!
